Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Techforce Global ("Techforce", "we", "us") handles information when you use EmailVerify, our email verification website and API (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we process

• Email addresses you submit, whether a single address entered in the checker or addresses inside a CSV or Excel file you upload for bulk verification.
• Uploaded files, meaning the spreadsheet you provide and the verified result file we generate from it.
• Basic technical data such as IP address, timestamp and request metadata, used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.

How we use it

• To perform verification checks: syntax, domain and MX lookup, disposable and role detection, live SMTP mailbox check, catch-all detection, SPF and DMARC lookups and a confidence score.
• To generate and return your verified sheet for download.
• To operate, secure and improve the free Service.
• A copy of a bulk result sheet may be emailed to the Techforce team to support and monitor the free Service.

SMTP checks

To test whether a mailbox exists, our server opens an SMTP conversation with the recipient's mail server. We do not send an actual email to the address being verified.

Retention

Uploaded files and generated result files are stored temporarily to run the job and enable your download, and are deleted automatically within a few hours. Verification results may be cached briefly to improve speed and reduce load on mail providers.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Limited data is shared only as needed to run the Service: DNS and mail providers are queried during verification, and if you access the API through RapidAPI, your API usage is subject to RapidAPI's terms and privacy policy.

Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any email addresses you submit, and for complying with applicable laws such as GDPR when uploading third-party data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
